Digital art has spent years trapped between two unsatisfactory extremes: low-resolution social media feeds that compress subtle textures, and hyper-financialized crypto marketplaces where the artwork is secondary to token speculation.
Miharana was built to restore digital art to an intentional viewing experience. Developed by Urticad Tech Limited in the UK, Miharana pairs a curated public collection with verifiable provenance, accessible across both the web and native mobile apps for iOS and Android.
Over 500 Master Artworks in High-Fidelity
At the heart of Miharana is an authoritative public catalogue of over 500 curated digital artworks, hosted on distributed R2 object storage. Rather than presenting static thumbnails, the platform provides deep-zoom master rendering:
- Surface and Texture: View intricate algorithmic filigree, brush textures, and geometric gradients at full native detail.
- Cross-Platform Availability: Browse the public gallery online at miharana.com, or carry the collection in your pocket with the native Miharana mobile app on iPhone, iPad, and Android devices.
- Two-Column Artist Profiles: The mobile app (version 1.19) features dedicated artist pages that organize portfolios into responsive, two-column exploratory grids on medium and expanded displays.
Provenance as Context, Not Speculation
Every work in Miharana is accompanied by its available creation and provenance documentation. Instead of forcing visitors to connect a cryptocurrency wallet or navigate gas fees, provenance in Miharana is treated as plain evidence:
- Object Identification: Clear specifications of file formats, dimensions, color profiles, and edition statements.
- Creation Context: Information on the artist, algorithmic tooling, and underlying methodologies behind the work.
- Transparent Rights: Plain-English terms that distinguish viewing rights from commercial licensing.
