When you generate an abstract visual on a phone, the difficulty is rarely creating an image. The difficulty is steering it. Most mobile tools offer two extremes: tap a random button that completely resets your canvas, or type text into a remote cloud model that hallucinates unexpected details.
Creator 2.4 takes a different approach. Every pattern is generated entirely on your device using deterministic mathematical algorithms. You retain direct control over geometry, color distribution, and seed progression.
Five-Axis Geometry: The Shape Engine
In Creator 2.4 on Google Play (and iOS TestFlight), the Shape panel gives you five continuous controls across all ten generative tools (Ribo, Dune, Topo, Cellular, Weave, Strata, Mesh, Orbit, Filament, and Flora):
- Scale: Controls the frequency of the underlying mathematical lattice. Lower values produce broad, sweeping fields; higher values generate fine, intricate line work.
- Density: Adjusts the volume of concurrent mathematical paths evaluated in each frame.
- Distortion: Introduces non-linear mathematical perturbations into the coordinate space.
- Chaos: Controls stochastic variance across individual strokes without destroying the underlying composition.
- Flow: Sets the directional vector field, determining whether energy moves linearly, radially, or in curvilinear eddies.
Because the engine executes deterministically, swiping left or right steps backward and forward through your exact seed history. If you see a composition you liked four swipes ago, you can step right back to it.
Weighted Mixing with 2 to 6 Lockable Colours
Preset color palettes are convenient, but they quickly become predictable. Creator 2.4 introduces a dedicated Color panel with continuous mixing:
- 2 to 6 Active Swatches: Pick between a two-color minimalist study or a complex six-color palette.
- Independent Color Locking: Lock an espresso background while allowing accent golds and teals to cycle freely with new seeds.
- Relative Weight Sliders: Adjust which colors dominate the canvas. If your composition needs 70% deep umber and 30% split between gold and porcelain, slide the weights directly.
Dragging the floating palette button moves it anywhere on screen so it never covers your focal point. While moving the button, the artwork underneath remains rock steady.
On-Device Execution and Print Resolution
Every algorithm in Creator runs locally in code on your device’s GPU and CPU. No artwork is ever uploaded to a server, and no internet connection is required.
Standard exports produce 1080 × 1620 PNG files with an accompanying JSON metadata file containing your seed, parameter values, and palette weights. The Complete edition unlocks full 2400 × 3600 pixel print exports (A3 size at 218 dpi) without any watermark.
